many have heard of hemingway's cats - polydactyl cats that have extra fingers. bobbins is a syndactyl - a cat with missing fingers. you wouldn't know at first glance. neither did we, or the people from which we got him. i suspect he has some other skeletal differences due to his rather unique habits compared to all of the other cats we've had.
