another day, another redesign. had wanted to do it more like this before, with a single page load and links load dynamically. seems i'd have to do some trickery to get any active link highlighting in the navigation div.

suppose i should do one of these [at least] every time i update all the other shit. the first simple gallery is up. learning how to redo the main site already familiarized me with what i needed. i'm capable of learning it further and making improvements, it will just take some time and focus. need to optimize things. probably shouldn't try to load 87 images in a single gallery at once.

this is actually coming along a lot quicker than i thought it would. my creative process and output is so strange. there are insurmountable walls for long periods that just suddenly vanish, and things start falling into place. i've spent a good number of hours trying to look up how to do what i've done the past week, to no avail. just couldn't find anything that satisfied me. seemed like i had to relearn a ton to get goin. mm not so much. just a couple very specific things.
